Whats the difference between the #46155 and #46255 both are listed for my Ford crown victoria p71. Police interceptor

Both the Hopkins # 46255 and # HM46155 Wiring Harnesses that you referenced will technically work on your 2003 Ford Crown Victoria P71 but the better option is with the # 46255. In addition to the powered converter that's needed to both combine the separate signal circuits on the Crown Vic to be compatible with trailer wiring and provide sufficient power to the trailer lights, it also includes a fuse holder and fuse along with additional wire to run the converter's power lead up to the battery. This kit essentially gives you everything you need where you would likely still need to add some wiring length to the other kit to get everything installed.
