How To Wire a Trailer Connector On a 2004 Western RV Alpine Coach
Question:
I have a 2004 Western RV Alpine Coach. The previous owner allowed an idiot to cut the trailer wire bundle for troubleshooting the brake lights. I have identified the wires on the coach plug but they are a little different than your diagram. 1 oclock: vacant 3 : green 5 : white 7 : black heavier guage 9 : yellow 11 : brown my dilemma is that the colored wire bundle was spliced into the coach wiring harness which is all white wires except for the heavier guage black wire. you show the white in the 7 oclock position and the black in the 1 oclock position. Any idea as to how I should proceed?

I would love to help but I would not be able to confirm the functions of the wires you have mentioned above. The diagrams you are seeing on our site are more for trailers and they are just a guide. Since your wiring has been modified your best option would be to just begin testing each of these with a circuit tester. If you apply a signal from inside the cab and then test each of these wires that will give you the correct functions but I do not have any options outside of this.
