Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Installation and Security for a 2011 Toyota Prius

Question:

I have a 2011 Toyota Prius with a standard roof no sunroof or any other roof option. I want to know how this rack secures to the roof and how is it anti-theft proof? You mention a special tool for removal. Can you describe this in more detail please?

When attaching the Rhino Rack Roof Rack System, # RRVA118B-2 and # RRRLKVA to the roof of your 2011 Toyota Prius with the Custom DK Clamps and Pads, # DK195, the clamps will secure in the door jambs, see instructions link.

You will receive a security Allen wrench, that is needed to secure the security screws that hold the clamps into the legs. This is the security feature mentioned on the product page. I put together a photo showing the tool and the type of fastener included.
