What is the best way to mount a canoe on top of a 2013 Ford Edge w/ panoramic sun roof? Thank you for your time!

First you need a roof rack installed on your 2013 Ford Edge with roof rails and the glass sun roof. For that the Thule roof rack part numbers # TH711420 and # TH710401 that you referenced is a confirmed fit and would be your best option. This rack is very well made, easy to install, and provides bars that are shaped in a way that drastically minimizes wind noise.
Then for a canoe carrier the Thule Portage part # TH819 would be an excellent option that will secure the canoe by the gunwales and uses straps.
