Could 16x21 TorkLift Lock and Load SideKick Cargo Tray Be Disassembled To Steal

Question:

If you were using a honda 2000 or something with smaller width, what would keep someone from simply removing the 4 bolts that mount the tray to the hitch stinger? It appears as though both the top and bottom of the bolts are exposed.

That's a good question. The reality is if someone had access to the top and bottom of the bolts that hold the tray to the shaft of the 16x21 TorkLift Lock and Load SideKick Cargo Tray # TLA7901 they could remove the bolts. But that would require the thief to have the tools needed on-hand, have a pretty solid understanding of this specific carrier, and you to have a small enough generator that they would be able access the tops of the bolts.

The likelihood of all of that criteria being met is pretty slim since most thefts are crimes of opportunity where a degenerate stumbles on something they feel entitled to without a whole lot of premeditation.
