What is 5.H or S.H Code on Prodigy P2 Brake Controller
Question:
What dose 5.h. Stand for

Expert Reply:
The 5.H (or S.H) code you are seeing on the Prodigy P2 # 90885 means that the controller is sensing a short on the circuit for the brake controller. What you need to do is inspect that wire from the controller all the way to your brakes and repair/replace any places where the wiring is damaged.
Something else you can also check, prior to tracing the wiring, are the 7-Way connectors for your tow vehicle and your trailer. Make sure they are clean and free of any debris or corrosion and clean out as necessary. If would also benefit you to use some Dielectric Grease # 11755 to help protect these connectors in the future.
