Is There Recommended Pressure of Firestone Air Helper Springs F2071 to Increase Ride Smoothness
Question:
2018 32 foot Forest River class c RV. Does higher or lower air pressure give smoother ride. I currently use 50 lbs of pressure.

We get this question pretty often, and the truth is, for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2071 there is not a recommended psi to give you a smoother ride. It does have range of between 5 psi and 100 psi so what we recommend in this scenario is to test it out at different settings to see what works best for you when you are towing. If the 50 psi you have it on now is not optimal, raise or lower the psi about 10 at a time and experiment for the best quality.
This would be done much easier with a compressor because you can very easily change the pressure of your air bags from the comfort of your truck cab, the Air Command Compressor System w/ Light Duty Compressor - Wireless - Smartphone Enabled # F2610.
