Will Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit Fit 2002 Fleetwood Prowler With 10 Inch Drums

Question:

I have a 2002 Fleetwood Prowler 27H that has been sitting for about 5 years. It has Dexter 3500# Tandem axles with 10 inch X 2.25 inch drums that are manually adjusted. While repacking the wheel bearing the lining on one of the brake shoes came off in one piece. i have decided to replace the entire brake assembly on all four wheels. Will part #23-26-27 fit my camper? Thanks!

It's a smart idea to go ahead and replace your brakes and yes, the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs # 23-26-27 will absolutely fit your 2002 Fleetwood Prowler. The reason they will fit is these brake assemblies are the same dimensions as your drums, 10" diameter x 2-1/4" wide so they are perfect for you. These brakes fit a standard 4-bolt brake mounting flange which has bolt holes that measure 2-7/8" apart on center.
