Can the Curt Weight Distribution Systems Be Ordered With a Longer Shank
Question:
the round bar hitch you have listed for 216. would work for me... only difference is I need an 18inch long hitch shank... this will allow me to my tailgate down when the trailer is hooked up. can you provide the longer hitch shank? please let me know.

I do have an option for you but the Curt Weight Distribution Systems like part # C17051 all come with a standard 12" long shank. If you like, you can purchase the above and then a longer 18" shank like the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank part # EQ90-02-4600 but there would be no way to combine the two pre-purchase. Please note you will also need a hitch ball in order to complete your setup, part # A-90 or part # C40030.
We do have options for you that do not already come with the shank but the cost of these when adding the longer shank would exceed that of the above so that is your best option.
