How to Protect Jaws of 5th Wheel Hitch When You Aren't Towing
Question:
I do I close the hitch when its open? The bar is showing staining from the rain and being exposed. Would like it closed after I unhook the trailer?

The best option for closing up the jaws on your Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16115 to protect them from the elements is with a cover like the excellent Classic Accessories # CA80116. This will cover the entire head of the E16 to keep it clean and dry with its waterproof vinyl construction and rip-and-grip straps that fasten it around the hitch for a snug fit.
I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.
