Will the 1,200 Lb Fulton Snap-Ring Swivel Jack Work In Place of an 800 Lb Model
Question:
I plan to replace my Fulton 800 lb snap-ring trailer jack and was wondering if the Fulton Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack Item # FTJ120W0301 would be a match for my old jack so I wouldnt have to re-weld the mount. Im not sure of the trailer/tongue weight but it is a tandem trailer for a 20foot boat and my boat weighs about 3000 lbs. Im also planning to replace the trailer winch which is a Fulton T1401 1400 lbs with the Fulton F14306 1800 lbs. Do you think this is a good setup for my trailer?

The snap ring swivel mount design has not changed to the best of my knowledge so the Fulton Round, Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack part # FTJ120W0301 should work just fine with your existing mount therefore no welding will be required. The tongue weight of your boat trailer would be well within range for the above 1,200 lb option so there will not be any concerns here either.
In regards to the Fulton Single Speed Trailer Winch part # F142306, this will also do a good job of replacing the Fulton Trailer Winch T1401 and it will give you a bit more capacity to work with.
