Is Convert a Ball Fifth Wheel Adapter # CAB-C5G Good Choice for 5 to 6 Trips a Year
Question:
I am seriously considering trading my travel trailer for a 5th wheel and, since my truck already has a goose neck, I was looking at the adapter instead of a typical 5th wheel connection. I will use the trailer about 5 or 6 times a year. Since you warn against continual use, I am assuming your warning is for full-time or serious weekend warriors. True? Thanks!

It's an odd warning given for the Convert a Ball part # CAB-C5G to say that it'st not for "continual use" but since it is an adapter it's not the most ideal solution for someone who plans to be on the road all year round. That said this adapter has worked really well for us for the several years we've been carrying it so it does work well and has not given us any reason to doubt it's durability. For your application of 5 to 6 trips a year it would work really well.
