Determining Replacement Pin Box Compatibility By Measuring The Bolt Pattern

Question:

Hello, I think I have a Leland 7920, according to the chart you have provided. But Im not 100 sure, the bolt pattern matches, but the distance from c/l of king pin to first and second holes are different. Here are the measurements of my Pin Box: Width is 14inch flange to flange Horizontal separation between holes is 7 Vertical separation between holes is 11/2 Number of bolts is 6 on each side 1/2inch bolt holes Distance from c/l of king pin to first hole is 18 5/8inch Distance from c/l of king pin to second hole is 25 5/8inch I dont think the distance from king pin to bolt holes really matters as long as they are the minimum of the above specs. Therefore, after days of research I think the Item # UF35-946208 is the proper replacement for my king pin box. It may sit back 3inch farther, but that is a good thing because I have a short bed on my truck. Can you confirm? Thanking you in advance for your time and help in this matter.

Since the bolt holes line up vertically and horizontally you'll be able to bolt the Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel King Pin - Leland 7920 # UF35-946208. This specific pin box actually has an 18" king pin to first set of bolt holes measurement and 25" measurement to the second set of bolt holes so you won't actually be gaining length. If you have a short bed you'll want to use a compatible sliding hitch in order to make 90 degree turns.
