Selecting a Wiring Harness for a 2009 Toyota Highlander Hybrid

hi there i am looking to buy a curt 13534 trailer hitch for my 2009 toyota highlander hybrid. which curt wiring harness would you recommend? i think the C56217 is the correct model, but i am not sure. thanks.

While the Curt # C56217 has more amperage that would help with trailers running more lights and have greater power needs, I would recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118449 because of it's quality construction and the fact that it's self grounding so it's easier to install with less risk of ground connection issues down the road.
The Curt Class III Trailer Hitch # 13534 is confirmed to fit your Toyota Highlander. It's sturdy construction provides 5,000 pounds of gross trailer weight rating and 750 pounds of tongue weight rating. Be sure to consult your the towing and tongue weight capacities of your Highlander in the owners manual before carrying any loads.
