Is 2019 Chevy Bolt EV Strong Enough to Have Hitch Installed for Bike Rack

Hi, You are stating in your publicity that your hitch is very strong. My question is that since Chevrolet Bolt are not meant to have a hitch, is the part of the car were the hitch is bolt is strong enough for supporting a bike rack? Thanks for the answer

Yes, the portion of the 2019 Chevy Bolt where the EcoHitch part # 306-X7359 installs is strong enough to support the weight of a bike rack. It actually installs where the bumper beam attaches which is reinforced quite a bit.

For a bike rack I really like the Saris SuperClamp EX part # SA4025F.

This is a platform bike rack that only touches the bike at the tires and only weighs 35 lbs. The biggest drawback to platform bike racks has always been the weight of them, but with this rack you get the best of both worlds. The preferred attachment style with the lighter weight.
