I checked with the manufacturer, and the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75758 does fit your 2019 Ford Escape SE, so long as your Ford does not have the factory Class II Towing Package. If you do have that towing package you will need Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 36524 instead, which is a smaller hitch with less capacity.
Otherwise, the Draw-Tite # 75758 is a very sturdy hitch with a 2" receiver and 675 lb tongue weight capacity and 4,500 lb towing capacity. It does not require any type of drilling to install and you will still be able to use the hands-free liftgate with the hitch installed. I have added a link to a video install of this hitch for you to check out.
With this hitch, if you do not have the factory tow package and need trailer wiring I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118802 which will give you a 4-way connector to power your trailer's lights. I also recommend checking out theRapid Hitch Adjustable, Aluminum Ball Mount Kit w/ 2 Zinc Balls - 4" Drop or Rise Item # AM3462 which gives you up to 4" of rise or drop or # AM3411 which gives you up to 6-1/2” of rise or 5-1/2" drop. Both of these ball mounts can be adjusted in 1” increments to ensure you can tow level, and they come with a 1-7/8" hitch ball and 2" hitch ball to pair with your trailer's coupler.
