Is There a 2 Inch Trailer Hitch for a 2002 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
Hello, I have a 2002 Subaru Outback LLBean. Is there a 2 inch tow hitch available or am I limited to 1.25 inch?

If you were to install a trailer hitch on your 2002 Subaru Outback Wagon L.L. Bean Edition then you would have to use one with a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening as they do not make one with a 2" receiver tube opening for this vehicle. I recommend the Draw-Tite Class II Frame Receiver Hitch part # 36284 because it offers more ground clearance than the Curt Class II Receiver Hitch part # C12270 which you can see in the attached photo.
If you have a 2" accessory then you can use something like the Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver part # HTAD or the Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver with 5" Rise part # HT5R but keep in mind these reduce your tongue weight capacity by 50%.
