It's pretty scary to have a wheel fly off, but there is an easy way to determine the correct replacement hub assembly. What you can do is either remove your remaining hub and look at the bearings themselves; wipe away the grease and you should be able to see the part number stamped directly on them. Or, you can use digital caliper and measure your spindle to the thousandths of an inch where the bearings and grease seal ride. You can use the photo I've attached to see exactly where you need to measure. You can use that information to determine the correct hub.

For example, the most common bearings for a 3,500 lb axle will be inner bearing # L68149 (1.378" inner diameter), outer bearing # L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) and grease seal # 58846 (1.719" inner diameter). If you have these bearings and grease seal you could use the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3,500-lb Axles - Galvanized # AKIHUB-545-35-G-K which has a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern.

You could then mount a wheel and tire such as the Karrier ST215/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire with 14" Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range C # AM32182 which is the same size as your original tires and has the correct bolt pattern to fit this hub.

I have added a link to video reviews as well as our entire selection of hubs and tires and wheels for you. Or if you get back to me with your spindle dimensions or bearing numbers I can help find the right parts for you.
