What PSI Should Trailer Tires be Inflated to
Question:
Hi, we have an 18foot long pontoon, on a approx 24foot long trailer, and 214 lbs engine on it, and when traveling, some additional things like tent, etc on the boat. How much tire pressure must be if we towing, how much if sitting, and I heard must be different if the weather is hot, like 100F or higher in AZ. Thank you any help.

With nearly all trailer tires you need to inflate them to the max psi rating that's listed on the sidewall when they are "cold" or haven't been used in at least a few hours. This ensures you get the maximum capacity from the tires and also prevents heat buildup which often causes tire failure.
