Ribbed Rubber Mats for Floor of Horse Trailer

Question:

I have a stock horse trailer that is 20 feet long by 7 feet wide it hauls draft horse 2000 lbs so i would think a thicker ribbed mat might be best. what would be the best option to cover the whole floor with minimum cuts and waste ? does it needs to be glued or ok just laying flat

The most efficient way to cover the horse trailer floor you have that measures 20 feet by 7 feet is going to be with three sets of the Ribbed Rubber Trailer Mat # 3622RM that you referenced. All three of the mats will need to have 2 feet cut off the length of them and one will need to have 2 feet cut off of the width and you'd have the entire floor covered.

Since you are going to need to remove the mats to clean the floors to prevent corrosion between the mats and the floor you will not want to use an adhesive. Otherwise horse urine on aluminum will eventually corrode. It's best to remove the mats every use to rinse out the trailer to prevent this.
