Troubleshooting Everchill Refrigerator Making Noise
Question:
This fridge came with my RV purchased about 2 months ago. Fridge wasnt too loud when we started using it, but something happened and now is extremely loud when running, which is most of the time. What would be causing this? I am guessing the compressor? This unit doesnt have a converter for the DC, right? I am guessing the RV supplies 12V. I can see a fan in the back of the freezer, but that isnt too loud. Thanks

The Everchill Refrigerator for RVs # 324-000119 does indeed have a compressor, and you were right on as that is almost certainly what the issue is. I took a look at the owner's manual and it states that the system will make continuous noise to "remind" you to have it repaired, but this only happens when it is on. This is the same scenario as you described so you do need to have it serviced.
