Can I add a hitch mount bike rack on the back of this cargo rack

While the square opening at the rear of the Reese Cargo Carrier # 63153 does bear a striking resemblance to a hitch receiver, a hitch-mounted bike rack or other accessory cannot be mounted to it. This is simply the platform tube on the carrier and is not rated for any kind of weight to be applied to it.
What we do have though is the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 Platform Bike Rack # HR1450Z-85. This particular carrier combines both a 2-bike platform rack with a cargo carrier, essentially what you are wanting to do but in reverse. Both components can be used together or separately with the 2 inch trailer hitch on your vehicle.
