Recommended Base Rail Kit for 2019 Ford F-450 to Mount Andersen Ultimate 5th Wheel Hitch
Question:
I really like the Anderson 20K fifth wheel hitch but want to make sure I get the correct rail kit for the 2019 F-450 XL. What do you recommend as I see quite a few with under mount semi-custom braces?

You can definitely use the Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # AM3200 with your 2019 Ford F-450 Super Duty, although this particular hitch does require standard above-bed rails.
For that I strongly recommend the Custom 5th Wheel Installation Kit for Ford # BWRVK2402 because they do not require any drilling into the frame of your '19 F-450 to install, which is not only great for your truck but also significantly reduces installation time.
If you wanted to add underbed base rails you absolutely can and the best option for this is the Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWGNRK1116-5W which would require the use of the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3500-5W, which is a great thing because the Companion is considered by many to be the best 5th wheel hitch in the industry.
The reason the Companion is beloved by 5th wheel haulers is its impressive jaw system that enhances the connection to your king pin along with its cushioned bushings, which minimize the noise that often comes with towing a fifth wheel trailer. The jaws on this hitch are a full 1 inch thick and are the key reason why you aren't going to have to deal with the highly annoying rattling that you would otherwise have to if you were to use a hitch with a lesser jaw system.
As of this writing the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3500-5W has been reviewed well over 600 times by our customers, and they have given it a nearly unanimous 5-star rating. Getting that many people to agree on anything speaks volumes about how good the Companion really is.
I have added links to video reviews and installs of these products for you to take a look at.
