Recommended 4-Bike Hanging Style Rack for a 2019 Honda Odyssey With Locks

Hi, I am thinking about getting a hanging type hitch rack for 4 bikes for my new minivan. My hitch has a 2 inch receiver. The locking pin should secure the rack, but how do I secure the bikes? I dont think Ill ever leave the bikes on the rack over night, but I would like to be able to leave for an hour or two to get food sometimes without worrying the bikes getting stolen. Thanks,

For your 2019 Honda Odyssey, I recommend using the Thule Apex XT 4 Bike Rack part # TH9025XT. The Thule Apex has a threaded hitch pin lock to secure the bike rack to the vehicle and a cable that extends out to secure the bikes to the rack. If you take a look at the seven minute mark in the attached review video you will be able to see the cable lock being used.

In addition to the locks, the Thule Apex has a tilting feature that will allow you to tilt the bike rack away from the vehicle with bikes attached so you can open the hatch and access your rear cargo area. Please note if any of your bikes have an alternative frame you can use the SportRack Bike Frame Adapter Bar part # SR0500.
