Solution to Reduce Sway When Using Titan Hitch Extension with Bike Rack
Question:
I am using the 48” adapter for a bike rack on our dual wheel truck camper. Suggestions to reduce the swaying? Thanks

Using a longer hitch extension like the Titan Hitch # RP45018 that you referenced will definitely lead to a bit more sway but you can work to reduce it by adding a couple of support straps from Curt, part # 18050. Attach one end of a strap to the bike rack and the other end to a secure attachment point on the truck or camper. This will help to stabilize the rack at the rear of the camper during travel to help restrict this movement.
I have attached a sample install video that you can check out as well.
