How to Determine if Ultra Fab Motorcycle Carrier # UF48-979033 Will Clear Rear Bumper
Question:
We purchased the Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier # UF48-979033 for our 2014 Coachman Freelander QB21 Anniversary edition Class C RV and are awaiting delivery. We are purchasing a Honda 150PCX scooter to carry on the back. We are concerned that the back bumper might interfere with the installation of the carrier. Do you have any insight or experience with this?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier # UF48-979033 that you referenced is safe to use at the hitch at the back of a motorhome like your 2014 Coachman Freelander QB21. To determine if it will clear the rear bumper you'll need to measure from the hitch pin hole of it out to the furthest point out on the rear bumper. If that distance is less than 5 inches this will fit and clear without issue.
