Brake Controller Connector for 2013 Ford F-150 Deosn't Have Wires at the Back

Question:

I want to install a brake controller in my 2013 F150, STX. The connector is taped to the wiring harness next to the diagnostic connector, but there are no wires in the brake controller connector. Just the blank connector. Any thoughts? Thank you,

Would you be able to send me some pictures of what you're looking at? If there are wires at the back of the connector then you have the correct piece on your 2013 Ford F-150 as the adapter # 22292 that you would use for a Tekonsha controller like the Voyager # 39510 has pins that insert into the plug on the pickup (see attached photo).
