Can Ventline Roof Vent Be Installed on Pop-Up Camper with Thin Roof
Question:
Hello, I recently bought a 1984 starcraft starlite 17 pop up trailer. It needs a new roof vent.. the size is currently around 11x11inch but I want a 14inch roof vent to replace it with. I just need to make sure the vent will fit as far as thickness goes. Im no expert but I imagine the roof is a lot thinner in a pop up trailer than in any other trailer. Do you have anything that will work for my needs?

The roof on your pop-up camper might be a bit thinner than what's on standard travel trailers but the Ventline Ventadome Roof Vent # V2092SP-28 that you referenced does include a garnish that allows it to fit with different thicknesses. With the garnish the vent can fit roofs that are as thin as 1-7/8 inches (or as thick as 3 inches). I simply recommend taking a quick measurement on your roof to make sure this will work well.
If your roof is thinner than this then you will just need to add some wood block to serve as a spacer.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this vent assembly that you can check out as well.
