Height from Base to Top of Tow Ready Hitch Ball
Question:
I intend to use this in a pintle hitch. I know the shank dimensions will work, but What is the height from ball top to base? Thank you,

Expert Reply:
The Hitch Ball with 2" Diameter and 3-1/4" Long Shank, 7,500 lbs GTW # 63849 is approximately 2-3/4 inches from the base to the top of the ball. The shank is 3-1/4 inches long and has a 1 inch diameter, which is smaller than most pintle hitches accept, though if that's what yours is then it will work for you!
I have added a link to a video review of this hitch ball and also added a link to our selection of pintle hitch balls for you to check out just in case you needed something with a larger diameter shank.
