Can the Brophy Hitch Reducer and Extender Part HR26 Be Used With a Weight Distribution System
Question:
Im confused on if this product can be used with weight distribution systems. The specs refer to a 10,000 lb rating if WD is used, but some of the answers in the QandA say they cant be used. It sounds like some answers were for a different extender? My trailer is 4300# pulled with an F250 using an Anderson WDH.

Yes, the Brophy Hitch Reducer and Extender part # HR26 can be used with a weight distribution system but you will be limited to 10,000 lbs or 1/3 of your trailer hitch's weight capacity, whichever is lower. This adapter will provide you with a 7" extension from the hitch pin hole on your trailer hitch.There should be a sticker on your trailer hitch which lists the weight capacity.
