Weight Capacity For the Rhino-Rack Pioneer SX Platform Rack On a 2002 Lexus LX 470

Can this rack support my weight, 180 pounds? I’m a photographer and I’m looking for a way to get a high perspective with my cameras.

Yes, the Rhino-Rack Pioneer SX Platform Rack part # JA9134 can support 180 lbs so long as the weight capacity of the roof on your 2002 Lexus LX 470 which the above is a fit for can also support 180 lbs plus the weight of the platform which is 60 lbs. Therefore, the roof weight capacity of your vehicle's roof will need to be rated for you (180 lbs) plus the weight of the platform (60 lbs) for a total of 240 lbs.

I looked in the owner's manual for your LX 470 and there was not a roof weight capacity listed so you would need to reach out to the manufacturer in order to obtain this figure.
