Jason S asked you about Goldwing wiring. The GW uses 5 wires 4 standard and a separate brake wire. The solution is a 5 to 4 converter that combines the brake and turn signal wires.

You are correct. The issue is that you have separate tail lights on your motorcycle and combined wiring on your trailer. Separate means your brake lights are on separate bulbs as your turn signals. In order to get them to work together you are going to need to use a tail light converter to install a 4-way on your motorcycle.

For that you will want the Roadmaster Brite-Lite Converter # RM-732 and 4-way like part # 18002.

First you will need to cut off the 5-way on your motorcycle. Next, you will need to wire up the # RM-732 as follows.

Green of the motorcycle runs to the white of the converter.
Red runs to red.
Blue from motorcycle runs to the green of the converter.
Orange from motorcycle runs to the yellow of the converter

Brown from the motorcycle runs to the brown of the # 18002
Yellow on the output side of the converter will run to the yellow of the #18002
Green on the output side of the converter will run to the green of the # 18002
White will need to be grounded.
