What are the Reese Above Bed Rail Measurements for a 2010 Ford F-350

Question:

I have a 2010 ford f-350 lariat fx4 crew cab dually with an 8ft box that im planning on pulling a 48ft haulmark enclosed gooseneck w/ a king pin race trailer with a gvwr of 18000lbs. I was wondering what the center to center distance was of the # RP50082-58 rails are when mounted where the hitch goes into and what the length and width of the slot itself is aswell. I need to pick up the trailer asap but cannot efford the hitch at the moment but one of my buddies has hitch i can use if it will fit in the rails i will be putting in my truck. So if you have the info so i can measure up the hitch to make sure it will work with my rails before i commit to anything i would appreciate it.

The hitch that your friend has would have to fit in above the bed 5th wheel trailer hitch rails. The Reese rail measurements that are important are included in the picture I have added here for you to view. The slots where the hitch would mount are 1.68 inches side to side and 0.58 inches front to back.

For only a little more than the rail kit you referenced, you could install a gooseneck trailer hitch in your 2010 Ford F-350 such as # C60720.
