Your boat and trailer are 5,800 pounds combined. Load range G tires are generally rated for up to 3,000 pounds each at the least, many well over 4,000 pounds depending on the tire size. In short, G isn't necessary although there's no harm in it either.

The only American made tires we carry are from Goodyear and we currently only carry a few sizes, none of which will work for you because they are all 15 or 16 inch. We have the Kenda Karrier part # AM10235 for a size 205/75-14 radial tire with a load range of D. They're rated for 2,200 pounds per tire when inflated to 75 psi which is still plenty for your trailer and an 81 mph speed rating. These tires have been rated by over 1300 etrailer customers and have a 5 out of 5 rating.

Finding tires less than 6 months old could prove challenging. Granted we do sometimes have them but most tires are made overseas that the process of a distributor in the US getting them can sometimes take that long. We recommend buying tires within 2 years of their date code as long as they are stored properly. Tire manufacturers traditionally store and transport tires indoors so there's no damage from weather or sun. We also store tires in our warehouse to prevent premature dry rotting. Additionally, pretty much all the tires we sell are within 2 years, and it's like US-made tires will be newer than most.
