E-Bike Rack Recommendation that Fits 2013 Kia Soul with 1-1/4 inch Hitch

We have 2 Rad e-bikes, each weighing 61#. We also have the Hollywood Rack E-Bike, 2-Bike rack with 2” tongue. We wish to carry the bikes on the back of our Soul and wonder if we can install a 1-1/4” to 2” adapter to a hitch, can we safely use the 2” bike rack on our 1-1/4” tow hitch. Do you sell an appropriate adapter receiver? Also, do you sell the Draw-tight trailer hitch as a Class II for the 2013 KIA Soul? Thank you.

I have a way that will allow you to carry your 61 lb e-bikes in a hitch rack on your 2013 Kia Soul but using a hitch adapter like you mentioned is not the recommended way as it will cut the capacity of the hitch in half.

Best solution is the Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202 as this fits your hitch size and is a higher rated e-bike rack. It comes with a ramp too to make loading/unloading the bikes as easy as possible.
