Troubleshooting Propane Not Working for Stove Until Different Regulator is Used

Question:

I have a 2000 coleman bayside elite. I hooked up the propane to the regulator to use the stove and the stove doesnt ignite. I dont smell any propane coming out of stove. My dad tried also to get stove working nothing happened. He then went to the side of camper where the stove is and climbed under and disconnected propane line and put a regulator from a grill on to stove. The stove works. The question I have is the regulator on camper bad? Any help you can give would help. Thank you

If you bypassed the regulator on your camper and the stove started working then I would say that the regulator is bad or it needs to be cleaned out. I'm not sure what kind of regulator you have but we do offer a variety of options like the 2-Stage # 108220 for single tanks or the dual stage # CAM59005 for dual tank setups if it needs to be replaced.

Attached is a link to our selection of regulators that you can filter through. If you aren't sure what to get just give me some more info on your current setup and send in a picture of your regulator so I can make a recommendation.
