Availability of Electric Trailer Brake Assemblies for 1977 Show Me Horse Trailer with Kelsey Axles
Question:
i have a 1977 show me horse trailer with kelsey axles they are 4 bolt 5200 lb tag #3-9880 i was told i have to change out the axles

Kelsey is related to Hayes/AL-KO. We do have assemblies that may possibly fit but you will need to measure the center to center distance between the 4 bolt pattern on the brake mounting flange. On our brake assemblies that may fit, # 23-105-09, and # 23-106-09, the mounting pattern for the 4 bolt holes is as follows:
Center to center on the lowest 2 holes is 2-1/2 inches
Center to center on the top 2 holes is 3-1/8 inches
Center to center between top and bottom holes is 3-3/8 inches
These are 12 by 2 inch assemblies rated for up to 6,000 pound axles.
