Is There a Trailer Tire that Can Have Pressure Lowered for Smoother Ride

Question:

My Load Range C tires can carry significantly more weight than I have in/on the trailer. If I have a light camping trailer ALiner Scout Low Profile can I lower the cold inflation pressure below the stated sidewall maximum so that I dont run on tires that are harder than they need to be for carrying the load and shake up the trailer contents more than necessary? FWIW this trailer has a 2,000 Lb axle and lead springs.

Trailer tires really need to have their cold pressure max rating inflated in them at all times unless the brand is Goodyear as their Endurance tires can have the pressure lowered. If you can get me you tire size I can see if there's a Goodyear that fits. Otherwise if you deflate any other brand of tire you'll lower the capacity and cause heat build up.

Other option you have would be installing a shock kit on your trailer suspension to soften the ride quality. But you'd need to very for me that you have a straight axle (not torsion) and I'd need to know the diameter of the axle as well.
