Upgrading to 205/75-15 Tires on a 2014 Lance M-1685
Question:
I have a 2014 lance 1685. It has dual axle. Currently it has 14inch tires and a 14inch spare tire. I want to change to 15inch tires but you cant fit a 15inch tire where the spare goes. Is it acceptable run 15inch tires and put on a 14inch spare if I have a flat. Basically run it until I get the tire replaces

If you were to use the smaller tire as a spare just to get to the nearest repair facility then this is okay in most cases and a lot of our customers will do this in an emergency but a better option for you might be to obtain a different spare tire carrier, one that will hold a larger wheel/tire. For this, we have options such as the CE Smith Offset Spare Tire Carrier part # CE27310G which can mount to the a-frame portion of your trailer or the Bumper Mounted Tire Carrier part # TR-1 which mounts to a rear 4" x 4" square bumper. It's hard to say how far you will be from a repair facility in the event of a blowout.
For your 2014 Lance M-1685, I recommend using the Taskmaster Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Tire part # TR20515D which has an 81 mph speed rating, then have it mounted on the # AM20422 at a local shop.
