Will the Hopkins Never Fade RearView Trailer Level Work In Extreme Cold
Question:
I see one of the reviews on your site said that the Hopkins Never Fade Rear View Travel Level froze and broke. We live in Northern Minnesota where it gets 30 to 40 below F though we dont camp at those temperatures, we have awakened to temps a little below freezing. Is this product guaranteed against freezing? It looks great. Hope it would not be an issue with winter storage in Minnesota.

I spoke with Hopkins about the Hopkins Never Fade RearView Trailer Level part # HM04026 and they informed me that this device should work just fine for the -30 to -40 degree temperatures that you have in Minnesota but they didn't have an exact temperature range that the level is tested in. It does however come with a 90 day warranty so if anything were to happen in this time frame you would be covered. We also have the Wheel Masters Level Master Trailer Bubble Level part # WM6700 which comes with a 1 year warranty but again I do not have an exact temperature range that the level is tested in unfortunately.
