Fuses To Check on 2006 Ford Expedition When Trailer Running Lights Don't Work
Question:
I have a 2006 Ford Expedition and with a 4 pin connection for a trailer. All of the lights are working except for the trailers running lights. I checked some fuses and none of them were blown. What all fuses and relay switches should I check for the running lights?

A blown fuse under the hood of your 2006 Ford Expedition is indeed a common cause for the trailer running lights not to work. I pulled up the online version of the owner's manual for the Expedition and you will want to check the 20 amp mini fuse located in the number 10 position inside the passenger compartment fuse panel along with the R201 relay. These are both connected to the trailer running lights circuit for the vehicle's factory 4-Way connector.
If replacing the fuse/relay does not resolve the issue please let me know and we can continue to troubleshoot.
