Replacement Vent for 12V Vent Located Above Shower in 1992 Dodge Van
Question:
This item is in my 92 Dodge van, in the bathroom, above the shower. It is almost 30 years old and I need to replace it. However, the description for this item says do not use it in a bathroom above a shower. It is the only one I can find to replace the one in my van. Is there another one exactly like this one that can be used in an extremely small shower/toilet area in a van or can you recommend something else? It has a 6inch diameter. Thank you!

The reason the Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # VP-543SP has that note is because it runs off of electricity and the steam from a shower could short it out. If you have had this exact one installed on your van and you want to replace it with this exact part then you can, but it could possibly get ruined from the steam/water.
If you are just looking for an air vent and it doesn't have to be electric then the next best option we have is the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V2092SP-28 which doesn't use a fan at all.
