Ultra-Fab Electric A-Frame Jack Motor Spins But Leg Will Not Move
Question:
Jack motor runs in both directions but the jack shaft does not move?? Pulled the cover off & the visible gears all seem to mesh OK & the pins are in place at the top of the shaft.. With no weight on the tongue, the motor will drive the shaft downward, but will not bring it back up. With weight on the tongue, the shaft would not move in either direction.

I am sorry to hear about the issues you are having with the Ultra-Fab Electric A-Frame Jack part # UF38-944017. Unfortunately, it sounds like there is internal damage to either the threaded rod or bevel gears. The gears and or threaded rod are not replaceable parts therefore your only option is to replace the entire jack. I know this may not be what you are looking to do but it is truly your only option.
For replacement, the Electric Jack w/ Footplate part # EJ-3520-BBX would work well.
