Can the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System Be Ordered With a 2-1/2 Inch Shank
Question:
Can the E2 WDH FA92-00-1200 be ordered with a distribution head that has a 2-1/2 in shank? My truck has the Class V 2-1/2 receiver and I would rather not have to use the reducing sleeve. Is the 1200 hitch too much for my set up - RAM 2500 diesel towing Lance 2375 28foot trailer/TW probably in the 900 lb range or maybe a little more, 7000 GTW.

I do have an option for you but none of the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Systems like part # FA92-00-1200 come with a 2-1/2" shank. Therefore, the best option you have is to replace the shank with the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank part # EQ90-02-4900. The shank that comes with the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Systems or most of our weight distribution systems for that matter most likely does not provide enough drop for your 2018 Ram 2500 so you would need a new, longer shank anyway.
The 1,200 lb rating of the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System will be perfect for your 2020 Lance 2375 Travel Trailer as you need to add not only the loaded tongue weight of the trailer but also the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the the tow vehicle. It will also not really hurt to be a bit over your projected total tongue weight either as you will want some room to add more weight when the time comes.
Unfortunately, they do not offer a good weight distribution system for your 2020 Lance 2375 Travel Trailer that comes with a 2-1/2" shank.
