Are Flat Towing Tow Bars Universal in What they Can Fit

Are tow bars vehicle specific or work with any vehicle as long as you have the right plate?

Tow bars are "base plate" specific meaning that they fit certain brand and model base plate kits. So as long as you have a compatible base plate kit on the vehicle the tow bar will fit and work great.
