There are 2 things you need to look at when choosing a replacement tire. The first is your old trailer tire size (can be found on the tire sidewall), and the second is the weight capacity of your horse trailer. For the example, the Provider Radial Trailer Tire # TR225LRE that you referenced has a size ST225/75R15 and a load range E which is 2,830 lbs at 80 psi. This means that when this tire is mounted on an axle you count the weight capacity twice, so you'd have 5,660 lbs of weight capacity. Check the tag at the front of your trailer for a weight capacity or the middle of your trailer axle to ensure that this weight capacity is correct for your application.

If you can let me know what your current tire size is and what your trailer GCWR (Gross Carrying Weight Rating) is or the weight rating of your axle I can make a specific replacement tire recommendation for you. I have also attached links to our selection of replacement tires as well as some helpful articles for you to reference.
