Where is Replacement Water Heater Element in Atwood GC6AA-10E
Question:
GAS/ELEC Water heater mod Atwood GC6AA10E. installed IN TERRY/QUANTUM 5TH WHEEL29ft.. I think the heating element is in a black plastic box attached to the back of the hot water tank. The model no. may be C21-2063 Camco? 1. What do you suggest I buy? What will fit? 2. Does the plastic box snap open? 3. Access to box is difficult, any suggestions?

The correct replacement water heater element for your model GC6AA-10E Atwood water heater is # AT92249. The element is going to be on the back of your heater. I've attached a diagram to assist because the element is located under a cover.
There should be a panel on your RV that will give you at least partial access to this area. If you are uncomfortable with the install though you should find a local installer to help.
