Troubleshooting MaxxFan Plus Model Operator Install
Question:
I have a maxxfan model 4751KS. My remote opener broke and I have a replacement but when I put the new operator on, I cant get it adjusted due to to much travel. I closed the operator and turned the hex wheel back parallel with the roof but the lift arm elbows hit the fan housing.

The Replacement Operator Mechanism # MA10-20281K-1AF that you referenced is the correct replacement operator for your MaxxFan Plus model roof vent. Is it possible you installed this in place of where the # MA10-20281K-3CF should have gone as this is a similar operator but installs in a different place. See attached diagram.
