Replacement Wheel Stud for 3,500 lb Axle Hub
Question:
Hi I have. 2017 continental cargo trailer 8x20. It has 2- 3500lbs axles with electric brakes. One of the wheel studs got cross threaded going on and had to be broken off. How do I determine if I have a dexter setup or some other name brand or are they all the same. Local parts house doesn’t have source to look up application. Can you help? Every trailer with 5 on 4-1/2 have 1/2”-20 studs but my concern is about the part that pulls into drum. Are they different depending on name brand of axle?

Most likely you have a Dexter 3,500 lb hub which uses basically the standard wheel studs as other 3,500 lb hubs as well. So the correct replacement wheel stud would then be the part # 7-122.
