Will Tekonsha Trailer Wiring Kit for Audi Q5 Allow Computer to Know Trailer is Connected
Question:
If Audi dealer installs OEM hitch/harness the wiring is integrated. I understand that when care senses trailer is connected it reprograms the transmission shift points, and engine and transmission cooling, and disables rear parking sensors. Do i lose all this capability using this harness and suitable hitch from etrailer? Car: 2015 Audi Q5 3.0T

The trailer wiring harnesses we offer for your 2015 Audi Q5 like the ZCI part # 119250KIT will not make the changes to the transmission, engine, and parking sensors. Reason being that your vehicle won't "know" that this kit is installed so the computer won't make the changes.
